HELPING WITH ESSENTIAL NEEDS
This program provides monetary assistance for rent & utilities and community resource information.
EVICTION PREVENTION:
Guests who have received a Notice to Quit or Demand for Compliance from their landlord may apply for assistance in person with the following documentation:
- Lease
- Notice to Quit or Demand for Compliance
- Proof of income
- Photo ID for every adult in the household
ENERGY BILL ASSISTANCE:
Guests who are at least one day past-due on an energy bill may apply for assistance in person with the following documentation:
- Most recent bill
- Photo ID for the applicant
Between November 1st and April 30th, guests should also apply for Colorado’s Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP). You can find directions for applying on the LEAP website.
